Italian marble starts from an average of Rs. 370. This kind of Italian marble is the Botticino type. This variety is very basic and has an affordable range in India which can reduce your home renovation costs.

Some builders who work in bulk may also demand prices up to Rs. 350. A lot of times, their price ranges from Rs. 300 to Rs. 320.But these home renovation costs are not applicable for residential apartments. For residential apartments, you can use Botticino Italian marble when you have a very low budget. But if you want to have the same Italian marble of good quality, it’ll cost Rs. 400 to Rs. 450.
These are the marbles you can afford in low range. But you should also know that it always has 15% wastage, and some of the marble you buy will always go to waste. For an estimate, if you want to cover 100 square feet of your apartment with Italian marble, you should buy enough marble for 115 square feet.
When you go for a higher budget, the marble cost ranges from Rs. 500 to Rs. 550.

There is too much of demand for the Botticino kind making it the cheapest. In the case of Statuario Italian marble, however, the demand is high where the supply is limited, which makes it more expensive. Many shopkeepers can try and dupe you by saying that they can sell you Makrana white. It is the kind of marble that was used in the making of the Taj Mahal. You can get marbles which are very close to it but you can’t get the same kind.
Shopkeepers tend to add a high price to this kind of marble so you have to be careful with what you buy.
